A large acute healthcare trust in the UK is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Haematology and Oncology, available from August 2025. This fixed-term role offers a unique opportunity to assist in patient care and participate in education and research at a leading medical facility. Candidates will primarily be based in the Same Day Emergency Care unit, with shifts including days and weekends.

University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer a fixed-term position for a Clinical Fellow in haematology and oncology for a 6-month period (until March 2026) at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC).
The BHOC provides Oncology and Haematology services to the former Avon, Somerset, and Wiltshire Cancer Network, serving a catchment population of approximately 2.2 million people. The centre houses:
The BHOC also includes the Radiotherapy department, chemotherapy day unit, University of Bristol Palliative Medicine group, BHOC Clinical Psychology, the TYA Day Unit, and a large Clinical Trials Unit.
The successful applicant will primarily be based in the SDEC unit but will also work on the haematology and oncology wards. The role involves working a mix of shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
The centre features a 32-bed Oncology ward with 5 TYA beds, protected sealed/unsealed source rooms, an outpatient suite, and a chemotherapy day unit. The Haematology Unit has a 24-bed ward and day units for malignant and non-malignant disorders. The Bristol Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre and Bone Marrow Transplant service are also based here.
The successful candidate will assist in delivering the work of the Haematology and Oncology teams and will have opportunities to contribute to education, clinical governance, and research within the division, directorate, and trust. You will join enthusiastic and motivated teams.
