We are offering posts starting August 2025 at the Glasgow Renal and Transplant Unit, located at the new Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. The initial contract is for 6 months (7th August 2025 - 4th February 2026).
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain or enhance your clinical experience in nephrology, haemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis. There will also be opportunities to care for patients post-renal transplantation. The Renal Unit supports approximately:
Annually, around 150 renal transplants are performed. All inpatient renal services are based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, featuring 50 nephrology beds, 15 renal transplant/surgery beds, along with dedicated day and assessment areas.
The successful candidates will join a friendly, motivated team and participate in the renal on-call rota with an appropriate banding supplement.
