A regional healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Clinical Fellow in MSK Radiology for a 12-month fixed-term position. This role offers intensive training in musculoskeletal imaging and collaboration with surgical staff. Candidates should have full GMC registration and relevant experience. The position offers a competitive salary between £52,656 to £73,992 and flexible working arrangements.
Applications are invited for a whole time fixed term (12 months ) Clinical Fellow in MSK Radiology. This is a full time 40 hours per week position. This post commences on 05.08.2026 and ends on 03.08.2027
The faculty is active in a variety of clinical research projects and the fellow will be given the opportunity to complete a research project during their fellowship.
There are ample opportunities for teaching and research. Radiology Registrars from Oxford rotate through the Department, and as of this year, the training of 2 IR Fellows is shared with Oxford.
Qualifications required are full GMC registration and relevant specialist experience.
Many clinical services have recently been reconfigured across the Trust with most acute services being localized at Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe remains the acute site for Cardiology and Hyper Acute Stroke, serving Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

The Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship is a clinical and research program based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and the National Spinal Injuries Centre (NSIC), the oldest, and one of the largest spinal injury centres in the world.
The fellow will participate in an intensive training program in musculoskeletal imaging, which includes plain film radiographs, ultrasound, CT and MRI of the musculoskeletal system, image-guided interventions, arthrography, percutaneous bone biopsy and complex spinal intervention including vertebroplasty and spinal ablation.
The fellow will be involved in a variety of novel techniques (for example dynamic MDCT for spinal stability) and be exposed to wide-ranging pathologies.
There will be opportunities to attend weekly Musculoskeletal MDT meetings, Spinal Orthopaedic MDT, Spinal Injury MDT at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and attend the regional Sarcoma MDT at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (NOC) in Oxford.
Fellowship training is enhanced by close collaboration interaction with the orthopaedic surgical staff and members of the rheumatology department. This will include opportunities to attend theatre for teaching from Mr Stuart Blagg, former President of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons (BASS) and to collaborate on research projects with the spinal orthopaedic fellows.
