The Opportunity:
A unique opportunity for experienced counsellors/psychotherapists looking for a varied role including clinical management clinical practice placement support core teaching and research. You will be part of the clinical management team at Hope Park Counselling Centre a vibrant counselling center contributing daily to delivering the service supporting both the development of Hope Park and students on placement. This post is for a qualified experienced practitioner who is committed to the dialogue between psychodynamic perspectives and the personcentered approach which is Edinburghs core orientation. Teaching academic assessment and Masters dissertation supervision will provide opportunities to develop teaching practice in addition to clinical lead skills. The postholder will also make a contribution to the strategic development of scholarship research knowledge exchange and impact within Counselling Psychotherapy and Applied Social Sciences the wider School and the University. You will provide clinical cover during the centers operational times including daytime and evenings. You will be required to be on campus during your designated working hours which will include a minimum of one evening per week. We are open to considering parttime or flexible working patterns.
The salary for this post is Grade UE07 (40497.00 to 48149.00) per annum.
