An established industry player is seeking Clinical Fellows in Cardiology to join their team at a major teaching hospital. This role offers an excellent opportunity for resident doctors to gain comprehensive clinical experience in Cardiology, with the potential to progress to a Consultant role. Successful candidates will be involved in delivering essential Cardiology services and may also contribute to General Medicine. Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5) in Cardiology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

These posts support the middle-grade Cardiology Service and are considered equivalent to a Specialty Registrar position.
This is an excellent opportunity for resident doctors seeking to gain comprehensive clinical Cardiology experience within a major UK Teaching Hospital. Previous Clinical Fellows have successfully gained a National Training Number in Cardiology or progressed to a Consultant role.
The successful candidates will participate in delivering the Cardiology Service and may contribute to General (Internal) Medicine on-calls and, depending on experience, to the Cardiology Specialty Registrar out of hours on-call rota (1 in 5 to 1 in 8, non-resident).

Full GMC Registration and a Licence to Practice are required at the time of application.
The applicant must demonstrate effective communication skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English, as per GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must have IELTS/OET certification before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.

The Department of Cardiology at Addenbrooke's provides comprehensive cardiac care to approximately 450,000 people, including services such as inpatient care (10-bed Coronary Care Unit, 21-bed general ward), outpatient clinics (Rapid Access, Heart Failure, Cardiac Genetics, Obstetric Cardiology, AF Clinic), non-invasive investigations (echocardiography, rhythm monitoring), catheter laboratory procedures (angiography, pacing, device implantation), and advanced imaging (nuclear, CT, MRI, PET).
