Job description

Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (Core) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (ST1-2 equivalent) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, starting from 06 August 2025 until 04 August 2026.

Role Details
  1. The duties are those of a Clinical Fellow (Core), equivalent to ST1-2 level, working on the Core rota in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  2. The Fellow will rotate through various clinical areas within the specialty and work with four Consultant teams.
  3. The successful applicant will participate in teaching Undergraduate Medical Students at the University of Cambridge.
  4. The applicant is expected to contribute to service improvement projects and audits within the department.
  5. Applicants must meet the essential criteria outlined in the job description.
  6. This post does not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.
  7. Full GMC Registration and a Licence to Practice are required at the time of application.
  8. This role may be suitable for those wishing to undertake an “F3” role.
  9. Applicants must demonstrate effective communication skills in English, as per GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants need IELTS/OET scores before obtaining a GMC licence.

  11. Skilled worker applicants must present a criminal record certificate from each country of residence for 12 months or more over the past 10 years. Adult dependants are also subject to this requirement.
