Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is expanding its Clinical Engineering Technical team and seeking a Technologist with a scientific or engineering background to support a wide range of medical equipment, including anaesthetic machines, ventilators, infusion pumps and ultrasound devices.

Formación

• Requires a scientific or engineering background.
• Ability to think logically and work in a well‑respected engineering team.
• Support apprenticeships and technical training for staff.

Responsabilidades

• Contributing to a safe and effective fleet of medical equipment to satisfy the requirements of CQC regulations 12 and 15.
• Deliver Clinical Engineering services in support of the Trust's clinical activity, ensuring patient and staff safety as a priority.
• Carrying out planned maintenance, acceptance testing on new equipment, service and repair on medical equipment following procedures.
• Communicating with clinical and non-clinical Trust staff at various levels, including in ITU and theatres.
• Liaising with suppliers and their engineers regarding technical equipment information.
