Job overview

We are seeking to recruit a full-time Clinical Engineering Technical Administrator to join our Clinical Engineering Team at Derbyshire Services Facilities (D.S.F.S.) based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. This is a new position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to our ongoing development.

The role involves providing high-quality administrative support, managing our medical device inventory database and Radio Frequency Identification (RfID) System, scheduling preventative maintenance, and collaborating with the Procurement Department to ensure contract compliance and value for money.

Main duties of the job
  1. Administer, maintain, and develop our medical device database and RfID System.
  2. Plan and ensure compliance with the preventative maintenance schedule.
  3. Schedule service visits and complete related documentation.
  4. Produce monthly KPI statistics for reporting to D.S.F.S. and the Trust Board.
