Clinical Engineering Business Administrator
Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust's Clinical Engineering team is expanding its services to deliver advanced medical technology that supports outstanding patient care across Buckinghamshire. Our team is at the forefront of healthcare innovation, managing a fleet of 20,000+ medical devices worth over £40M, ensuring these are sufficient, safe, and effective in line with CQC regulations.
We invite applications for the role of Clinical Engineering Business Administrator, based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, with occasional travel to Wycombe Hospital. You will play a key role in supporting the efficient delivery of Clinical Engineering services, facilitating technical operations, procurement, and compliance.

- Administrative support for equipment management, procurement, and service reports using systems like eQuip and eProc.
- Coordination of meetings, including the Medical Equipment Programme (MEP).
- Liaison with clinical staff, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribution to quality systems and compliance with governance policies.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications at Level 3 (e.g., A-level, NVQ3) or equivalent experience in business or administration, ideally supporting a technical or clinical service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of equipment management systems (e.g., eQuip) would be an advantage, the ability to learn how to use such systems is essential
- Excellent communication, organisational, and numeracy skills.
- Strong customer service ethos and ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment.

Person Specification
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- Qualifications at level 3 - A level, NVQ level 3 BTEC, diploma or similar or equivalent experience in administrationg, or an equivalent scientific and technical discipline
- A good standard of English and numeracy skills
- Additional qualifications in the use of standard Microsoft office products
EXPERIENCE
- Understanding of operation of eProc or similar procurement system
- Understanding of eQuip equipment management system or the ability to rapidly adapt from a similar system
- Familiarity with reading and understanding third party documentation such as service reports and delivery notes
SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDG
- Ability to organise workload using own initiative in what can a rapidly changing situation according to clinical and operational requirements
