Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Clinical Educator for Urgent and Emergency Care. The role focuses on delivering education, supporting non-medical learners and trust staff, and promoting a learning culture across the division of Emergency Care & Medicine.

You will deliver teaching, support supervisors and assessors, maintain training records and help integrate theory with practice in fast-paced urgent care settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering education to healthcare staff and students.
• Ability to develop and implement teaching plans and sessions.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience maintaining training records and reporting outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Model high professional standards of care and promote a culture of learning.
• Be a visible practice presence in clinical learning environments in urgent care settings.
• Provide support to supervisors, assessors and learners on programmes.
• Assist integration of theory and practice within the clinical environment for learners.
• Maintain accurate records of training, assessment and support provided.
• Deliver teaching sessions on a variety of clinical programmes.
• Support induction and onboarding for new registrants in the clinical area.
