A leading healthcare trust is seeking a motivated Clinical Educator to join the practice development team. The role involves supporting new staff through essential training and facilitating educational opportunities to enhance clinical competencies. The position offers a chance to contribute to professional development in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on quality care and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic midwife to join the practice development team as a Clinical Educator. This role includes mandatory and essential training, service activity, preceptorship programmes, and clinical placements in line with Trust policies, procedures, and national guidelines. The successful candidate will support new staff through preceptorship and induction programmes and provide access to education and training to ensure staff maintain required skills and competencies. Training must be evidence-based and updated annually.
The candidate should have demonstrable experience and be confident with all clinical skills.
Our facilities include three wards across two sites, with a total of 88 beds for antenatal, postnatal, and induction of labour.
Samuel Johnson Community Hospital currently does not provide intrapartum care but functions as a community midwifery hub.
