Job summary

Devon Air Ambulance requires an experienced, registered healthcare professional to lead the clinical education, professional development and operational management of the HEMS clinical team. You will oversee education programmes, develop the workforce, manage rostering and governance, and drive service improvements from governance and audit findings.

You will also lead emergency preparedness and uphold the organisation's exceptional safety and care standards across Exeter HQ and North Devon

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with experience in pre-hospital, critical or emergency care.
• Experience in clinical education and people management.
• Knowledge of clinical governance, with strong organisational skills and wellbeing support focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical education program and operational management of the HEMS clinical team.
• Oversee rostering, governance, incidents and audits to drive service improvements.
• Lead emergency preparedness arrangements and maintain high safety and care standards.
