Job summary

BMJ Group in London is seeking a Clinical Editor to commission and edit content for the Education section of The BMJ. This is a permanent, part-time role at 0.4 FTE with hybrid working in London.

You will develop content ideas, support authors, manage conflicts of interest, and ensure timely delivery for online and print. A medical degree (MBBS) and relevant editorial experience are required.

Qualifications

• A medical degree (MBBS) is required.
• Experience in writing, editing, commissioning or curating educational content for clinicians.
• Ability to contribute to clinical research in practice and understand audits or quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop content ideas for the Education section of The BMJ.
• Liaise with and support authors throughout editorial processes.
• Judge and handle conflicts of interest per policy.
• Contribute to timely delivery for online and print.
• Lead specific article types or series in collaboration with advisers.
