Find a place to grow

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director to join our senior management team at Kingswood Vets. You'll lead our practices and team while also enjoying clinical freedom through diverse cases. The role is primarily based at Woking but there would be travel to Chertsey when needed.

Work life balance that tips the scale

We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. Typically, the full-time position is over 4/5 days with a share of the weekend rota. However, we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career, and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance; therefore, let us know what you are looking for, and we will be happy to discuss.

Discover our exceptional team

We are a team of 10 Veterinary Surgeons (6.5 FTE), 10 Nurses (8.5 FTE, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 3 Student Veterinary Nurses) with an amazing support team of 10 who do all the hard work to keep the practice running smoothly. We have a surgery certificate holder, a dental vet, an imager, and an ophthalmology certificate holder. Plus a visiting cardiologist and orthopaedic surgeon. The rota is organised to allow dedicated time for admin so we can ensure we have the time needed to work up cases and provide the excellent care our clients deserve.

Our well-established Practice

Kingswood Vets is a well-established local practice in Woking, and we moved to a new purpose-built hospital premises in 2018. We have 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres, dental and imaging rooms, separate dog and cat wards, and all the usual toys including tonopen, slit lamp, surgical diathermy, and digital dental x-ray with plenty of time to work up cases with support available if needed. We have a really good mix of well-insured clients wanting gold standards plus RSPCA and other charity work.

As work-life balance is important to us, Woking is full of things to do; we are surrounded by golf courses, fantastic outdoor spaces such as the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding National Beauty, RHS Garden Wisley, a theatre, galleries in both Guildford and Woking. We have great transport links being around 30 minutes from London Waterloo. We are situated centrally for both Heathrow and Gatwick too.

Because our people matter

We recognise that our people are fundamental to the success of our business. Investing in our people, premises, and processes is at the heart of what we do. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will benefit from:

  1. Work-life balance
    • 7.6 weeks annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays
    • Additional holiday entitlement for your birthday
  2. Wellbeing
