Clinical Director - Miramar Vets

Sheringham, Norfolk

Salary up to £85,000 DOE | Welcome Bonus up to £5,000 | Relocation Allowance up to £5,000

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for your next leadership role? Miramar Vets in Sheringham, Norfolk, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinical Director to lead our friendly and skilled team.

About the Role

As Clinical Director, you will play a key role in mentoring and coaching our veterinary team while maintaining a hands-on approach to clinical work. You will have dedicated clinical time to work up cases, perform surgeries, and provide excellent patient care, alongside protected time for your leadership responsibilities.

Working closely with our Practice Manager, Area Director, and Area Support Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring high clinical standards and supporting business growth. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Leading and mentoring vets within the team
  2. Managing clinic budgets and P&L reporting
  3. Strengthening business relationships and driving practice growth
  4. Maintaining clinical autonomy in surgery and consultations

Rota & Work-Life Balance

  1. Up to 40 hours per week across four days
  2. 1:4 Saturday mornings
  3. No out-of-hours or on-call (outsourced service)

You'll be joining a supportive team of 5 Vets (Full & Part-time), 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCS, 4 Front of House staff, and a Practice Manager. We have vets with certificates in dentistry and soft tissue surgery, and we fully support further certifications.
