Salary up to £80,000 Plus Welcome Bonus of up to £5000 and Relocation allowance up to £5000

Easipetcare Derby, part of IVC, is seeking a dynamic Clinical Director to clinically lead our practice. As the Clinical Director, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our practice forward while providing top-tier care to our clients and their beloved pets. You'll oversee the daily operations of the Derby practice, ensuring the delivery of exceptional veterinary services while upholding our commitment to quality first-opinion care. You'll work closely with the management team in continuing to grow and develop the practice, team and services.

About You and Your Responsibilities

Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an ambitious vet ready to take the next step, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will be required to clinically lead the Derby practice with enthusiasm and dedication whilst providing a high standard of veterinary care, with a focus on consultations and surgery. You will work closely with our existing vet and great team of nurses and receptionists to maintain protocols and excellence in patient care.

We're looking for a motivated and driven Veterinary Surgeon who shares our passion for delivering outstanding veterinary care. The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered and possess a strong background in small animal medicine and surgery.

Rota shift pattern

Our normal working week for this role is 40-hours, with Saturday morning shifts on a rota (with time off in lieu). This role has no OOH or on-call. Our flexible approach to rota patterns can truly enrich your work-life balance. We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to achieve the right balance. Whether you need to do the school pick-up, need reduced hours during school holidays or would simply like a more flexible rota pattern we can flex our patterns to work with you; we are open to discussion.

About Us

You will become a part of a friendly and supportive team of 4 receptionists, 5 nurses and 1 veterinary surgeon, who are keen to provide great patient and client care.

Derby is a large and spacious practice that has a great waiting room with separate dog and cat waiting spaces, 4 consult rooms, a separate cattery, kennel and isolation ward, dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room, theatre and prep room with an in-house laboratory.

The practice is situated closely to local amenities and less than a 10-minute drive into the City Centre. It is also nearby to the picturesque Peak District National Park. The practice is easily accessible with dedicated car parking. It has excellent transport links, including the M1, and is a half-hour walk from the train station where you can get a direct train to London.
