There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum. This temporary top-up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

ABUHB is looking for a leader with extensive experience in a senior position in the Community Dental Service (CDS), who is willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines, setting high standards and motivated to achieve them. They will provide clinical leadership to all staff in the CDS Directorate and manage the service and its staff, ensuring the delivery of service programmes, contributing towards the Quality and Clinical governance agenda, and helping develop and implement operational plans of the CDS service alongside the Medical Director and the Integrated Oral and Dental Services Group (IOHG).
The successful candidate will provide strategic, clinical, and professional leadership for the development of oral health services across primary care and community services. As a key member of the Primary Care and Community Division, they will work across the Health Board to deliver the vision for integrated oral health services, developing and delivering innovative, high-quality services to improve patient care in line with the Health Board strategy.
