Co-Clinical Director Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Director to join the leadership team at PetMedics, working alongside our existing Clinical Director, Amy, in a co-CD capacity. This is a permanent position, based at our RCVS-accredited Small Animal Veterinary Hospital in Manchester.

About Us

PetMedics is a thriving group comprising a large, state-of-the-art 24-hour veterinary hospital, a fully refurbished first opinion practice, and a consulting site. Our team includes 37 veterinary surgeons, most of whom are Certificate Holders or on Certificate pathways, a Certificate-holding RVN team, patient care assistants, and dedicated receptionists - all committed to delivering exceptional care.

Our hospital facilities include:

  • 4 theatres
  • 5 consulting rooms
  • Intensive care unit
  • Digital X-ray
  • 16-slice CT scanner
  • High-end ultrasound scanners
  • Endoscopy and laparoscopy
  • Mechanical ventilation
  • In-house laboratory
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
  • A practicing vet with excellent clinical standards and communication skills
  • Experienced in leading teams and fostering a positive culture
  • Organised, motivated, and passionate about clinical and commercial development
  • Certificate holders or those working towards one are encouraged to apply
Your Role Will Include:
  • Co-leading the clinical team and promoting best practice
  • Line management and mentoring of clinical staff
  • Strategic planning and delivery of regulatory compliance
  • Budget setting and implementation
  • Supporting recruitment and retention efforts
  • Representing PetMedics positively within the wider community

You'll be supported by an experienced management team, with access to leadership development and CPD opportunities to further your clinical and managerial growth.
