Job Title: Clinical Director

Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.

Practice: Cromwell Veterinary Group

Salary: £75k - £85k per annum (Depending on Experience)

  • Work for a hospital that enables full work up of cases in-house - from digital radiography and ultrasounds to video-endoscopy, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, tonometry, and more.
  • No nights? No problem! Thanks to our own on-site Twilight and Night teams, you can choose between a 4 or 5 day working week on days only.
The team

At Cromwell Vets you will be working alongside a collaborative team to be truly proud of, due to their commitment to the delivery of exceptional care to our clients and their pets. Our clinical team is made up of 21FTE Vets, including several certificate holders, and we support and encourage CPD (including certificate study). We also enjoy being part of our communities and attending local events to run fun dog shows raising money each year for our chosen charity and encouraging team members to take part. Cromwell Vets also holds regular social events, including summer events, impromptu lunchtime barbeques, and our famous annual Christmas party!

About us

Cromwell Vets is a busy 24-hour first opinion small animal hospital with 5 branch surgeries and a state-of-the-art rehabilitation centre. We pride ourselves on providing the highest standards in veterinary medicine, and our tier 3 hospital has excellent facilities and equipment and hosts our dedicated out of hours service. We are also very proud of The Cromwell ARC - a purpose-built physiotherapy and hydrotherapy unit with aquatic treadmill and K-Laser, run by our qualified physiotherapist. Wellbeing is top of the agenda and important to us all - we champion a better work life balance and are avid supporters of the WellVet Initiative.

What we're looking for
  • An experienced, confident Clinical Director with an interest in expanding their non-clinical, managerial caseload.
  • Experience leading teams in a similar sized practice or hospital (essential)
  • Current and valid RCVS registration (essential)
