Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Divisional Clinical Development Nurse (RMN) to enhance care quality across multiple Mental Health Hospitals. This role involves clinical governance, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with care standards. Candidates must possess RMN qualifications, leadership skills, and experience in mental health settings.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Divisional Clinical Development Nurse (RMN) at Barchester, you’ll lead, support, and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care for patients across our six Mental Health Hospitals in England.
You will support each hospital's performance, ensuring it meets the highest clinical standards. By reviewing the clinical governance database and KPIs monthly, you’ll analyze results and develop practical strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and to enhance the care provided.
Working closely with the Managing Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff, you’ll support ongoing standards improvement and help implement key actions to resolve issues. Whether organizing training, attracting senior clinical staff, or conducting clinical investigations, your leadership and passion will positively impact patient care.
Due to the divisional nature of this role, a willingness to travel regularly is essential.
ABOUT YOU
To join us as a Divisional Clinical Development Nurse, you must be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with a current NMC registration. Evidence of continued professional development and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements are essential. You should have experience working in a Mental Health Hospital environment and be confident in mentoring, including with newly-qualified nurses. Your leadership skills, analytical mindset, and ability to share knowledge and build relationships will enable you to achieve impressive results.
