Overview

This role offers a £3000 relocation package. It covers 6 services in Essex.

About the role

As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse in the Essex region covering 6 services at Barchester, you'll lead, support and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care for residents in six of our care homes throughout Essex.

Responsibilities
  • Support the performance of each home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Review the clinical governance database and KPIs of each home every month, analyse results and identify practical strategies to meet regulations and continually improve care.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff in each home to support continuous improvement of standards and help implement key actions to address any issues.
  • Organise new training, help attract key senior clinical staff, or deliver clinical investigations as part of leadership and service improvement.
  • Travel regularly due to the regional nature of the role.
About you
  • Registered Nurse RN (General) with a current NMC registration.
  • Evidence of continued professional development and a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in a care home environment and is a confident clinical mentor, including with newly-qualified nurses.
  • Leadership skills, analytical mindset, ability to share knowledge, build relationships and deliver action plans to achieve results.
