Job summary

Impact Futures Group, via Tend Training, is seeking a Clinical Development Coach based in London or the South East. This hybrid role combines home-based delivery with occasional learner visits for progress reviews and tutoring in your area.

You will coach apprentices through the health care apprenticeship standard up to Level 5, lead a caseload, assess work, provide feedback, support learners with maths/english, and promote safeguarding and inclusion across the program.

Qualifications

  • Clinical experience in the Health Care sector.
  • Assessor Award CAVA/TAQA Level 3 or equivalent required.
  • Teaching Qualification PTLLS or equivalent preferred.
  • Level 5 or above in Adult Health and Social Care advantageous.
  • GCSE Maths and English at C or above.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a caseload of learners and help them complete apprenticeship or qualification up to Gateway and EPA.
  • Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update Aptem (E-Portfolio).
  • Identify and support learners with additional learning needs using Cognassist.
  • Support learners requiring Maths and/or English at Level 1 or 2.
  • Promote safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and equality, diversity and inclusion across the role.

Clinical Development Coach

Tend Training part of Impact Futures Group have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Clinical team as a hybrid based Clinical Development Coach.

This role is hybrid; a blend between working from home and travelling occasionally to visit learners for progress reviews and additional tutoring within and around your given area. The ideal candidate will be based in London or the South East of England.

Basic salary up to £32k basic plus a generous KPIs based bonus scheme on top, paid quarterly

The Role

As a Development Coach, you will be delivering and facilitating teaching, training, coaching and mentoring apprentices. The apprenticeship standard you will be delivering is up to and including Level 5.

The role will involve:

  • Lead a caseload of learners and support them to achieve their apprenticeship or qualification, as well as any additional requirements such as a Diploma through to Gateway and successful End Point Assessment
  • Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update the E- Portfolio system (Aptem)
  • Identify and support learners with additional learning needs and successfully use the neurodiversity platform Cognassist to support this
  • Support those learners who require Functional Skills maths and/or English at Level 1 or 2
  • Take responsibility to ensure safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion are promoted and monitored continually in all areas of the job role

About You
  • Hold or be willing to complete Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent
  • Hold or be willing to complete Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent
  • Clinical experience within the Health Care sector
  • Recognised Level 5 or above in Adult Health and Social Care
  • Maths & English GCSE graded C and above or
