Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum (£60,000 absolute maximum)

We are looking for a compassionate, driven, and skilled Clinical Deputy Manager / Nursing Home Deputy Manager to lead clinical operations and uphold the highest standards of resident care. Whether you’re an established Nursing Home Deputy Manager or a senior nurse ready to move into a deputy role, this is an outstanding opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking care home environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Deputy Manager / Nursing Home Deputy Manager:

  • Lead all aspects of clinical care across the nursing home
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and national healthcare standards
  • Provide mentorship and direction to nursing and care teams
  • Develop and manage person-centred care plans
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals
  • Monitor health outcomes and respond swiftly to changes in residents’ conditions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Act as the senior leader in the absence of the Home Manager

What We’re Looking For in a Clinical Deputy Manager / Nursing Home Deputy Manager:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
  • Prior experience in a leadership role such as Clinical Deputy Manager / Nursing Home Deputy Manager within an elderly care or nursing home setting
  • A solid understanding of CQC standards and clinical governance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
