Almond Valley Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) to lead clinical governance and care delivery. You will work with the Home Manager to ensure standards, oversee medication management, audits and improvement initiatives, and provide hands-on leadership to nursing and care teams.

This senior role requires a Registered Nurse with an NMC PIN, strong leadership, and a compassionate, resident-focused approach to quality care in a 66-bed setting in

Job description

Almond Valley Care Home is a purpose built 66 bed care home located in Almondside, Livingston. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can deliver person centred care, develop their skills and be part of a supportive and welcoming team.

Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) Contract

• £25.96 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week - 28 hours supernumerary & 1 12 hour shift on the floor per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
• Paid NMC fees

Ongoing training, clinical development and clear progression into Home Manager roles, supported by experienced senior leadership and regional teams within a well structured and high performing environment.

Role Overview

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and performance of the home, working in close partnership with the Home Manager to drive clinical excellence, regulatory compliance and high quality care delivery. This is a senior leadership position where you will take responsibility for the clinical oversight of the service and ensure standards are consistently achieved and sustained.

You will lead on all aspects of clinical governance, care planning, medication management and risk, ensuring care is safe, effective and person centred. You will monitor performance, carry out audits, support inspections and take ownership of continuous improvement, ensuring the home operates in line with regulatory and organisational standards.

You will provide visible, hands on leadership to the nursing and care teams, supporting, mentoring and developing staff to deliver high quality outcomes. Acting as Deputy to the Home Manager, you will confidently oversee the service in their absence, manage day to day operations and make informed decisions that support both residents and staff.
