Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is helping to fill a Deputy Nurse Manager role at a leading Hampshire nursing home in the Milford on Sea area. You will deputise for the Home Manager, lead nursing and care teams, and ensure high standards of clinical governance and personalised resident care.

The role requires a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of CQC standards. A permanent full-time position (40 hours) with a competitive salary and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC PIN.
• Deputy Home Manager experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of CQC standards.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with external professionals, families and staff.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills to drive care quality.

Responsibilities

• Support and deputise for the Home Manager with inspiring leadership to nursing and care teams.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.
• Apply nursing skills in a managerial context to improve governance and practice.
• Develop care plans and assessments for residents, especially complex cases.
• Collaborate with teams to provide person-centered care for all residents.
