Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and regular reviews of residents' health.

  • Ensure safe medication administration and accurate record keeping.

  • Monitor compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, and infection control policies.

  • Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement activities.

  • Mentor and supervise nurses and care staff, fostering a positive team environment.

  • Act as the senior point of contact in the managers absence.

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.

  • Prior experience in a senior nursing or deputy role in a care home setting.

  • Excellent clinical knowledge and leadership skills.

  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care.
