Job summary

University of Lancashire is seeking an exceptional educator with strong expertise in Clinical Dental Technology to lead the development of the Dental Technology curricula. You will oversee learning, teaching and assessment quality and work to enhance student employability and success.

You will be registered with the GDC as a Dentist, hold a teaching qualification or Advance HE Fellowship, and bring experience from higher education to drive educational innovation within the School.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching and module leadership within higher education.
• Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dentist, with current registration and good standing.
• Formal teaching qualification or Fellowship (Descriptor 2) of Advance HE required.
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership, coordination and development of Clinical Dental Technology and Dental Technology curricula.
• Ensure excellence in learning, teaching and assessment, and support student success.
• Contribute to developing the School's research and scholarly activity.
