Clinical Director of Dental Services
Full Time, permanent, 37.5 hours/week
The post holder will be the Clinical Lead for Buckinghamshire Priority Dental Service (BPDS), ensuring comprehensive oral health care for priority groups including individuals with learning difficulties, physical handicaps, mental health issues, medical conditions, severe anxiety, or phobias. Services include sedation, general anaesthesia, domiciliary care, care in secure settings, screening, epidemiology, and oral health promotion.

Salary: £94,007 to £108,038 per year (pro-rata if part-time)

Job Responsibilities:
Person Specification:
Qualifications: BDS or equivalent, GDC registration, postgraduate qualification, NHS Performer Number, commitment to professional development. Desirable: Specialist GDC registration, management qualification.
Experience: NHS management, working in diverse dental settings, budget management, personnel development, change management, conflict resolution, and working with agencies. Desirable: financial reporting experience.
Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of dental and governance agendas, excellent communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and IT skills.
Disposition: NHS Performer Number, high ethical standards, resilience, driving license, team player, professional conduct, flexible hours.
