Job summary

Alimentiv is seeking a Clinical Database Programmer to support development, testing and maintenance of EDC systems used in clinical trials. You will build studies, develop eCRFs, and configure edit checks using Medidata Rave.

You'll collaborate across Data Management and sponsors, contribute to AI-enabled improvements, and help optimize study development and efficiency across multiple trials.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Previous experience in clinical database development, EDC programming or clinical study builds.
• Previous experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
• Knowledge of eCRFs, edit checks, database testing and clinical data management processes.
• Understanding of programming principles, logic and database development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting EDC integrations, technical initiatives or bid defence activities.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Overview

As a Clinical Database Programmer (internally referred to as Database Programmer), you will support the development, testing and maintenance of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems used in clinical trials.

Working within a collaborative and innovative technical team, you will be involved in building clinical studies, developing electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs), configuring edit checks and supporting data integrations, primarily using Medidata Rave.

You will also have opportunities to contribute to new initiatives, explore AI-driven solutions and support continuous improvements in study development and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of C# programming and development of custom functions within Medidata Rave.

• Experience with AI tools, automation or AI-assisted programming to improve study development and efficiency.
