Job summary

Veramed is seeking a Clinical Data Manager to support the Data Management unit in the UK. The candidate will apply data management expertise across diverse sponsor studies, lead start-up activities, and collaborate with vendors to ensure data quality and timely delivery.

The role emphasises Medidata Rave (including eCOA), protocol and CRF review, UAT execution, data listings creation, and study master file maintenance, with hybrid working options and clear opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in numerical discipline (or relevant equivalent industry experience).
• At least 4-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Understanding of clinical drug development process, relevant disease areas, endpoints, and different study designs
• Awareness of industry and project standards & ICH guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal/teamwork skills for effective interactions
• Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail
• Project leadership experience
• Ability to make informed and appropriate decisions

Responsibilities

• Review of clinical protocols and create/review CRFs to ensure consistency with the protocol.
• Create or review Edit Check Specification documents.
• Prepare UAT documentation and perform UAT of EDC with findings communication.
• Create study-specific documents such as DM Plan, Data Review Plan, and eCRF Completion Guidelines.
• Create or review specifications for data review listings and customized reports for data cleaning.
• Ongoing review of data in EDC to ensure data is clean for analysis.
• Issue queries to clinical monitors or sites and resolve standard queries.
• Perform medical coding and collaborate with external vendors on data transfer specifications.
• Maintain audit-ready study master file documents and ensure regulatory compliance.
