Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Band 7
Due to recent expansion of psychological provision and developments to our service, we are seeking a passionate and committed clinical or counselling psychologist to join our Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) in Hounslow. MINT is a multidisciplinary service providing holistic support and treatment to adults with various mental health difficulties within a stepped-care framework. Our established psychology team is well integrated and highly valued.
We are looking for someone passionate about working with service users with complex emotional needs, trauma, and personality disorder diagnoses. The role involves managing a caseload and embedding psychological principles within the wider MDT. We seek a candidate who thrives in team environments and is enthusiastic about psychological dissemination, consultation, and leadership.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early career psychologist to develop specialist clinical skills within a supportive team setting.

You will conduct highly specialist assessments and treatments for individuals with complex mental health conditions, both individually and in groups. Post-qualification experience in this area is essential.
The role involves working with diverse cultural backgrounds, including asylum seekers, using interpreters when needed. A passion for equitable access and understanding the psychological needs related to migration is essential.
You will offer psychological consultation and guidance to the MDT, supervise junior psychological staff, and promote psychological ways of working. You will also contribute to service development through audits and research, collaborating with trainee psychologists and colleagues across the Trust.
