· Provide care and treatment to clients and their carers with a service that is culturally sensitive and gives due consideration to any special needs and ensure these are of the highest standard in terms of fair access, equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice.
· To ensure that statutory and legal requirements are incorporated safely within each service user's care plan.
· To undertake regular and thorough risk assessments for each service user you support.
· To be highly skilled at managing and containing challenging behaviours of service users and/or their family members at times of distress and crisis.
· To be able to work autonomously within the Autism Hub and identify and report risk in a timely manner using systems in place.
