Job Description:

Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - Children and Young Person (CYP)

Fully remote - UK only

Permanent. Full or part time (minimum of 3 days per week -24 hours)

From £60,000* per annum plus excellent Bupa benefits

*Based on full-time, if part-time this will be pro-rata

Operational Hours:

CYP service: 0 9:30 to 20:00, with a strong preference for after school appointments as these are in high demand meaning 50% of shifts must be a late of 11:30-20:00

This role will be primarily for our young persons pathway, but will also include adult clients too.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, safe, and effective therapy to young people via video or phone

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments and create tailored care plans

  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to support each child’s wellbeing

  • Manage your own caseload and work within sessional limits based on insurance coverage

  • Identify and manage risk, safeguarding concerns, and onward referrals when needed

  • Provide one-off assessments, wellbeing coaching, and psychoeducation sessions

  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement

  • Attend regular supervision and team meetings to support your practice

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (BPS accredited)

  • HCPC registration as a Chartered Psychologist

  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience with children/adolescents

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload

  • Proficiency in Microsoft systems and electronic medical records

Desirable:

  • Additional training or accreditation in a specialist area

  • Experience in corporate or private healthcare settings

  • Leadership or service development experience
