Job Description:

Main duties of the job include:

1. Providing specialist psychological services to service users on adult mental health wards.
2. Conducting psychological assessments, formulation, and interventions.
3. Offering clinical supervision, advice, and consultation to colleagues and non-professional carers on psychological assessment, formulation, care, and treatment.
4. Delivering compassionate care based on empathy, kindness, respect, and dignity, grounded in recovery principles and trauma-informed approaches.
5. Supporting the development and implementation of Trauma Informed Approaches across HPFT inpatient services, shifting the focus from "What’s wrong with you?" to "What’s happened to you?".
