Join a leading mental health service as a Band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist. This part-time role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to provide care for young patients with complex mental health difficulties, ensuring high-quality therapeutic interventions and support. We are looking for a very enthusiastic, compassionate, and proactive individual for the role of Band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join a well-established multidisciplinary team.
Our service, based in CAMHS Phoenix at Wokingham Community Hospital, is a Tier 4 Day Hospital and Home Treatment Service providing evidence-based psychiatric, nursing, and therapeutic interventions for young people aged 12–18 years. The service caters to young people presenting with severe and complex mental health difficulties requiring Tier 4 care, including co-morbid neurodevelopmental diagnoses such as:
All young people accepted to the service follow a structured programme aligned with NICE guidelines (e.g., anorexia nervosa, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation).
This is a part-time position – 22.5 hours per week.
