A healthcare organization is seeking a part-time Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to support neurodiverse individuals in Aylesbury. This role involves assessments, evidence-based interventions, and collaboration with families and agencies. A Doctoral degree in psychology and HCPC registration are required. We're recruiting a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join Bucks CAMHS team supporting Neurodiverse individuals. This role is a part-time at 30 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term basis.
You will join a well-established, and knowledgeable multi-professional team. You will receive quality reflective supervision. You will use your skills to deliver quality assessments and interventions and influence service improvements. You will have opportunities to grow in your career, including developing your leadership skills and supervision of others as and continuing professional development and research opportunities. You will be a vital member of the team helping the system to understand the complete identity of the young person including their neurodivergence, mental health and developmental profile.

In this role, you'll be contributing to the triaging, assessment and intervention process for neurodivergent children and young people and experiencing mental health needs. You'll be assessing the mental health component of their experience and delivering evidence based interventions.
We work closely with families to build care plans and there's a lot of multi-agency networking involved, as you'll be in contact with schools, the local authority, play organisations and charities.
