About The RoleAre you an organised and people-focused professional who thrives in a busy clinical environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team as a part-time Clinical Coordinator, supporting musculoskeletal services across our Lincolnshire sites.
Working in partnership with Lincolnshire East & West Clinical Commissioning Groups, our service delivers rapid access to diagnosis and treatment for NHS patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. You'll play a vital part in ensuring patients receive seamless care, combining high-quality administrative support with hands-on assistance to the clinical team.
This is a
part-time role, working 8.5 hours per week 08:00 - 17:00 on a Friday based at the
Louth County hospital (LN11 0EU)What you'll be doingIn this varied and rewarding role, you'll be:
- Booking patient appointments and processing records accurately and securely
- Answering incoming calls, handling patient queries, and making outgoing calls to confirm appointments
- Managing clinic supplies, including ordering consumables, carrying out stock checks, and ensuring medicines are in line with management processes
- Preparing treatment rooms to be clean, tidy, and fit for purpose
- Greeting patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner
- Supporting clinicians with administrative and clerical duties to keep clinics running smoothly
- Acting as a chaperone when needed
- Liaising with IT support teams for equipment or system issues
- Recording and reporting information accurately while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Helping to meet key performance indicators and contributing to service improvement
What we'll look for in youWith your experience in administration, ideally with public or customer-facing duties, you will also have:
- Strong IT skills and confidence working with software packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritise a busy workload
- A flexible, positive approach to working hours and location (with travel across sites)
- Professional, polite, and approachable manner
- High standards of personal presentation and reliability
- Previous experience in healthcare or NHS services - desirable
- A full clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - desirable
