Are you an experienced Clinical Coder looking for flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely? WPRG are seeking an experienced Band 5 Accredited Clinical Coder to join our high-performing Clinical Coding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work remotely, with full support from a collaborative and professional department that values accuracy, efficiency, and continuous development.

As a Band 5 Accredited Clinical Coder, you will play a vital role in transforming clinical documentation into accurate coded data using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications. Your work will directly impact NHS funding, service planning, and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately code clinical data from patient records using ICD-10 and OPCS-4
Ensure coding is completed in line with national and local standards
Liaise with clinicians and teams to clarify documentation where needed
Contribute to coding audits and quality improvement initiatives
Work independently and manage your workload remotely
About You:

Essential Criteria:

NCCQ (UK) Accredited Clinical Coder
Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical coding
Excellent knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently from home with minimal supervision
Access to a suitable home working environment and secure internet connection
Desirable:

Familiarity with clinical coding audit processes
Experience using coding software and electronic patient record (EPR) systems
