CHKS Limited is seeking a Clinical Coding Trainee Auditor to develop expertise in auditing and clinical coding leadership within a supportive, data-quality focused team. The role blends remote coding from home with occasional onsite work at client sites, supported by a structured development programme.

You will work across NHS and private providers, applying national coding conventions, delivering clear audit feedback, and contributing to AI-supported coding innovation while building your career

Qualifications

• Accredited Clinical Coding Qualification.
• 3+ years post-accreditation coding experience.
• Experience across broad clinical specialties.
• Knowledge of Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to develop into auditing and leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Undertake supervised coding quality checks and case-level reviews.
• Prepare clear audit feedback and reports.
• Identify themes to improve coding quality and consistency.
• Contribute to audit action plans and quality improvement.
• Support CHKS clinical coding services for NHS and private providers.
• Work a blended role with remote coding from home and onsite as needed, with travel expenses paid.
• Raise coding queries promptly with hospital leads.
• Collaborate with team leaders to resolve queries.
• Participate in AI-supported coding activities.
• Attend remote training workshops every two months.
