Job description

The Surgical Directorate is responsible for a wide range of clinical services including General Surgery, Urology, Vascular Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, ENT, OMFS, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Endoscopy, Breast Surgery, Pain, Theatres, and Pre-Assessment.

Opportunity: Clinical Co-ordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to be appointed as a Clinical Co-ordinator within the Directorate. The role is crucial in managing our elective programme and emergency admissions, ensuring optimal patient care. You will provide strong leadership and be adaptable in challenging situations to support patient flow, working closely with the Capacity and Flow Team and Primary Care colleagues in managing transfers within and outside the hospital network.

You will collaborate with Clinical Nurse Managers and Senior Charge Nurses to play a significant role in nurse staffing, ensuring person-centred, quality care with effective leadership and clinical support.
