Role Details

Number of positions available: 5
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, hybrid - 2 days per week in Bournemouth or Stockport offices.

Within the Complex Care Team, you will provide world-class customer service while assessing and managing claims for customers requiring long-term care for complex conditions. Your role is vital in ensuring customers access entitled benefits and treatments, and in identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Assess claims eligibility throughout the claim process, including conducting introductory calls, explaining case management, and obtaining an AMI.
  • Proactively manage cases and navigate care, maintaining regular contact with care providers such as consultants, hospitals, and clinics.
  • Analyze information to make appropriate technical decisions within your authority, ensuring claims policies are followed.
  • Serve as an expert reference point for customers, their representatives, colleagues, CSD, and the wider business to resolve complex queries and escalations.
  • Maximize savings through proactive claims management, including NHS benefits, home care providers, and care navigation to preferred partners.
  • Assist management with audits and specific projects.
Candidate Requirements
  • UK-registered healthcare professionals: nurses, physiotherapists, or occupational therapists.
  • Active registration with the NMC or HCPC.
  • Proven clinical background and secondary care experience in the UK.
  • Experience as Continuing Healthcare Assessors (CHCA) or Care Coordinators is welcome.
  • Proficient with computers, especially Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of medical conditions, treatments, and specialties.
  • Proactive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
