Job description

Case Manager – HCPC or NMC Registered – Midlands

Location: Home-Based with travel to visit clients in and around Birmingham

Must have UK driving license and own car

ItCompass Associates is proud to be working with a well-established and expanding case management business to recruit a new Case Manager in the Birmingham area. Applications will be considered from experienced Case Managers or qualified Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, or SALTs, who have a strong background in neurorehabilitation.

Following a comprehensive induction and with ongoing support and mentorship from senior colleagues, you will hold a small caseload of clients (adults and/or children) with complex rehabilitation needs due to catastrophic brain, spinal, and traumatic injuries. This is a home-based role requiring travel to visit clients for assessments, progress monitoring, and meetings with solicitors, MDT members, families, and external professionals.

This varied role allows you to utilize your clinical background to assess risk, set goals, and ensure clients receive the best possible care and rehabilitation. As clients go through litigation with their solicitors, you will receive training and support to produce high-quality, comprehensive reports suitable for court use.

Experienced Case Managers are encouraged to apply, as are Allied Health Professionals or Nurses with a strong clinical background in neurorehabilitation. You will receive mentoring, training, and extensive support around the medico-legal aspects of the role.

Location

This is a home-based role where you will manage your own diary and visit clients in and around Birmingham. Client locations depend on referrals, required specialism, and clinical need, including areas around Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, West Bromwich, Coventry, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Nuneaton, and surrounding towns.

Criteria
  • Recognised Nursing or AHP degree (Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy)
  • Full registration with HCPC or NMC
  • Experience in neurorehabilitation and/or case management
  • UK driving licence and access to own car
