Job summary

Mariposa & Papillon Care in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Clinical Care Practitioner on a bank basis to support our Briardene Nursing Home team with high‑quality, person‑centred care. The role combines hands‑on care with supervisory duties, ensuring residents and their families receive compassionate support.

You will be an experienced carer holding Level 3 HSC, dedicated to mentoring colleagues and delivering consistent, safe care.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification.
• Experience in care with supervisory responsibilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care team to ensure confident, skilled performance.
• Support residents with personal care while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Assist the Nurse to assess needs and develop person-centred care plans.
• Support the nursing team with medication administration per home policies.

As Clinical Care Practitioner, you will join our friendly bank team to proactively support the Nursing staff in managing the day-to-day running of our care provision, ensuring the delivery of the highest level of person-centred care and support to residents and their families and friends.

You will be a highly experienced carer holding Level 3 H&SC, with a genuine passion for people and the desire to ensure that those we care for can live their best lives by being dedicated, thoughtful and reliable. As a Clinical Care Practitioner, you'll combine hands-on care with team leader duties. It's all about ensuring that every resident receives the very best care while mentoring and supporting your colleagues to be their best. Here's a flavour of what you'll be doing:

• Supervising your care team so they're confident and skilled in every part of their role.
• Supporting residents with a range of personal care needs, while maintaining dignity, respect and privacy.
