Job summary

City Health Care Partnership CIC is recruiting a dedicated healthcare assistant to support patients through health checks, treatments and practical care within a nursing team. You will work under the guidance of a registered professional to ensure each patient's needs are understood and respected.

You'll carry out checks like blood pressure and glucose, assist with procedures within your competence, record information accurately, prepare rooms and keep stock up to date.

Qualifications

• Communication and caring approach essential for patient interactions.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Understanding of basic information recording and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Carry out health checks, including blood pressure, blood glucose and other basic observations
• Support clinical procedures such as taking blood, wound care, electrocardiograms and injections, within your competencies
• Record patient information accurately and handle samples safely
• Prepare clinical rooms, check equipment and help maintain stock
• Communicate clearly with patients, carers and health professionals, seeking guidance when needed
