A healthcare service provider in London seeks a Clinical Auditor to lead clinical audit projects aimed at improving care quality. The role involves analyzing data, writing reports, and making recommendations for changes in practice. The ideal candidate should have a relevant undergraduate degree and experience in research or audit methods. Salary ranges from £37,259 to £45,356 per annum including HCAS.
The Clinical Auditor is responsible for undertaking clinical audit projects aimed at producing changes to LAS practices and improving the quality of care delivered to our patients. This includes examining the treatment given by ambulance crews to the patient and the suitability of the level of the emergency response provided.
The Clinical Auditor designs and sets-up projects; collects, inputs and analyses data, writes reports and formulates recommendations for changes to practice.

The Clinical Audit & Research Unit (CARU) is part of the Clinical & Quality Directorate and is responsible for the LASs clinical audit and research activities and programmes. Clinical audit enables CARU to systematically monitor and review the quality of the care given by the LAS. Through the results of our clinical audit and research projects we recommend, and track the implementation of, appropriate changes to practice that are aimed at improving patient care both locally and at a national level.
