A local healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Clinical Audit Assistant to join their Clinical Audit Team. The role requires a self-motivated individual to provide administrative support for projects and assist with quality improvement initiatives. Candidates should have experience in administrative roles and familiarity with databases and spreadsheets. Ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable. Comprehensive training and support will be provided.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and organised individual to be a part of the Clinical Audit Team. You will become a core member of staff within a friendly and supportive team, enabling the promotion and support of clinical audit activity throughout the Health Board. The Post Holder will play a key role in helping the organisation drive forward improvements in quality and the care that our patients receive.
The Clinical Audit Department is a small team with offices located at each of the 4 acute hospitals. The Team offers a friendly and supportive environment and we meet regularly to discuss and share ideas. We are a long standing and well established team within the Health Board. The Team is administrative in nature but there are many opportunities to engage with staff at all levels and across the whole of the organisation. We focus on a core programme of work which can be highly varied and we are always keen to explore new ways of working.
The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and hard working with a readiness to learn about the role of the Clinical Audit Department and wider quality agenda. Previous experience of working withinan administrative, secretarial or similar role will provide you with a firm foundation although knowledge and skills from other areas are welcome additions to our diverse team.
Clinical Audit is a small specialised field and support and training are offered to all new team members.
You will need to be able to demonstrate practical knowledge and experience of working with databases, spreadsheets and other software. You will have good interpersonal and communication skills, and will be organised and an excellent team player. An ability to pay close attention to detail is essential and a key part of the role.
As a Clinical Audit Assistant you will provide an array of administrative support for a large variety of projects. Working with senior staff the postholder will provide support for clinicians ensuring that quality improvement is at the heart of every project.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
