PFAS is recruiting a Functional Assessor in Norwich for a permanent, full-time hybrid role. The position offers a £42,985 annual salary, Monday–Friday, with a 90-minute commute and at least three days on site.

You will conduct structured assessments, review clinical evidence, and produce high-quality reports, while benefiting from structured training and ongoing clinical oversight. The role emphasizes fair decision-making, career development, and a supportive environment, with no night shifts

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification as a registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, GPhC)
• Current registration with relevant body (NMC/HCPC/GPhC)
• Minimum 12 months post-qualification clinical experience
• Eligibility to practise in the UK

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured telephone, video or face-to-face assessments
• Assess how a claimant's condition impacts daily living
• Review and interpret clinical evidence
• Produce detailed written reports
• Apply professional judgement per regulatory standards
• Work towards quality and productivity targets
• Deliver assessments in a respectful, fair manner
• This is an analytical, report-focused role for clinicians
