Job summary

Croydon Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Applications Support Analyst to own clinical systems administration, oversee key support processes and drive improvements to our Electronic Patient Record and clinical applications. You will work across support, testing, troubleshooting and service development to keep the digital systems safe, effective and reliable for patient care.

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Operational knowledge of complex applications, such as Patient Administration and Clinical systems.
Experience of managing and resolving requests and incidents using an incident management system.
Experience in the usage, support, maintenance, and administration of Clinical applications (EPR: Oracle Millennium, EMIS Web, e-RS).
Knowledge of best practice in application support.
Experience of testing new software releases and updates.
Experience delivering training to staff.
Desirable ITIL Foundation qualification.
Desirable Oracle Millennium Fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of clinical systems administration and support processes.
Manage incidents and queries for internal staff, GPs, and external stakeholders.
Support testing of applications, software releases and updates.
Assist with changes, upgrades, and new systems in project stage and BAU.
Work with Application Managers/ Specialists to expand and upgrade applications.
