JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role involves interacting with:

  • Customers, including fertility specialists (doctors, embryologists, etc.) and CooperSurgical distributors/Channel Partners.
  • The CooperSurgical commercial team and internal stakeholders.

The purpose is to ensure business growth through product knowledge sharing and the implementation of the CooperSurgical fertility strategy.

This role covers two EMEA regions of responsibility:

  • Direct market (where CooperSurgical has its own sales team): BeNeLux, Czech Republic, and Slovakia;
  • Distributor market (where CooperSurgical operates through Channel Partners) in 26 countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, North Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Cyprus, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

This region is managed by two CAS team members, who allocate specific tasks between them in coordination with the regional commercial team.

Job Summary

Organize an efficient process for customer consultancy programs, ensuring a clear understanding of the CooperSurgical Fertility portfolio and recommended protocols. Proactively assist commercial teams within the areas of responsibility in growing market share, increasing revenue, and achieving commercial targets.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with CooperSurgical Channel Partners and the regional commercial team to support end-user customers and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop educational and consultancy programs for fertility specialists within the regions of responsibility.
  • Provide ideas and support for local marketing campaigns to drive sales of CooperSurgical equipment, consumables, and services.
  • Participate in and localize the corporate strategy for integrating acquisitions and developing portfolio sales.
  • Collaborate with local commercial teams to arrange workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions on CooperSurgical products and protocols.
  • Follow up on ROI-focused product sampling and customer feedback in coordination with the commercial team.
  • Conduct educational training programs and product launch workshops for direct commercial teams.
  • Support customer communication and internal coordination regarding product complaints.
  • Assist with corporate regulatory affairs projects and product recalls.
  • Maintain and update corporate CRM and utilize other analytical tools.
  • Participate in local conferences and exhibitions.
  • Share best practices and global initiatives with global PECS & CAS teams.
  • Monitor trends in the fertility industry and share insights with internal teams.
  • Assist in managing the regional cost budget to maximize ROI.
  • Maintain relevant documentation and reports.
  • Foster a high-engagement, results-oriented team culture.
  • Ensure all advice complies with legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Perform any other duties related to the company's business.
Qualifications

Travel Requirements: This position requires a strong field presence in relevant countries and the ability to work additional hours as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experienced clinical embryologist with a commercial drive and strong understanding.
  • Coaching experience in embryological techniques.
  • Confident speaker and networker.
  • Empathetic communicator.
  • Collaborative, positive, and engaged attitude.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, medical statistics, and clinical study design.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of fertility industry rules, trends, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in English and MS Office suite.
  • Responsive to change with a can-do attitude.
Work Environment

Primarily field-based with some work from home and visits to Denmark and Belgium facilities. Involves prolonged use of lab and office equipment. Ability to work additional hours as needed.

Experience
  • Minimum five years in clinical embryology and coaching.
  • Experience delivering public presentations, including webinars.
  • Experience in international companies is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Education
  • BSc minimum, MSc preferred, PhD desirable.
  • Publications are a plus.
