We are proud to work in partnership with the NHS and manage the Rotherham Wheelchair Service contract. We have a Part-time opportunity for a Clinical Administrator to join our friendly team.

Hours of work: Monday - Wednesday, 8.30am - 4.30pm.

**Initial training to take place Wednesday - Friday**

The role

As Clinical Administrator, you will work as part of a small team assisting the clinicians and performing all administrative activities to maintain and develop an efficient and effective administrative service for the centre.

Key duties.

  • Providing reception service for patients at the centre
  • Responding to telephone, email and in-person enquiries in a confidential, professional and helpful manner
  • Effectively communicating service criteria to patients, families, carers, Allied Health Professionals and clinical staff.
  • Managing appointments, referrals and maintaining patient records
  • Monitoring waiting lists and liaising with clinicians regarding clinic availability and appointments to manage waiting times
  • Triaging telephone calls and managing requests in an auditable and efficient manner.
  • Ordering stock identified by wheelchair clinicians, raising requisitions, liaising with suppliers, chasing orders and updating systems
  • Inputting referrals
  • Booking out and managing items for telephone triage patients and ensuring maintenance of appropriate records
  • Liaising with NHS services and the wheelchair repair provider (Ross Care) in a professional manner as required.
  • Ensuring all goods received for the service are processed in a timely and effective manner
  • Taking minutes of team meetings as requested
  • Assisting in management reports and data collection.
